Couple Tools has been redesigned: cleaner screens, softer colors, a floating navigation bar with the create button built in, and four themes that each have a dark mode.
Four themes. Signature (the default), Soft, High Contrast, and a palette that's easier to read with color blindness. Each has a dark mode. Choose one in Settings.

Start a conversation on any task, event or list item. Your partner is told when you comment, and a comment on something private stays private.
Comments everywhere. Open a task, an event or an item in a list to add a comment. Your partner gets a notification, so the conversation stays with the thing it's about instead of getting lost in chat.
Private stays private. A comment on one of your private items is never shown or sent to your partner.
